1-28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1-6 oz. can tomato paste
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
1 tsp, sugar
1 T. dried parsley
1 T. dried basil or 3 T. fresh
½ tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. granulated garlic
¼ tsp. dried thyme
¼ tsp. ground black pepper
¾ cup heavy cream

Directions:

In 5 quart saucepan, on med-high heat, stir in all ingredients except the cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to med-low and cook, covered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the cream, stirring constantly until heated through. Serves 6 to 8.
