4 tbsp. citric acid
1/2 cup boiling water
1 large can orange juice
1 large can pineapple juice
4 1/2 cups sugar
2 gallons cold water
1 large ginger ale

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve citric acid in boiling water. Mix juices, sugar and cold water; add to citric acid solution. Mix well and chill. Add ginger ale before serving. May add food coloring to punch.

Yield: 3 gallons

Citric acid is a weak, natural acid found in citrus fruits and is sometimes used as a natural preservative. It may be purchased in pharmacies or in the canning or seasoning sections of stores.
