1 c. unsweetened coca
2 c. boiling water
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. softened butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Prepare 3 9" pans.
In a medium bowl, combine cocoa with boiling water, mix until smooth.
In mixer, beat butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy, about 5 min. Mix together the dry ingredients. On low speed, beat in flour mixture in 1/4ths alternating with cocoa. Beginning and ending with flour. Divide evenly in the 3 pans. Bake 25 - 30 minutes.

Cool and frost as desired.
