2 unbaked pie shells, for 9" pies
4 eggs
1 can of Libby solid pack Pumpkin (29 oz.)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2cans (12 fl. oz. each) Carnation Evaporated Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425
Prepare pie shells.
Lightly beat eggs.
Mix in ingredients in order, ending with evaporated milk.

Pour into pie shells. Bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350º. Bake for 40 - 50 minutes. To check for doneness, insert knife near center, it should come out clean.

This is the classic pumpkin pie recipe. All of the mothers that I knew growing up used this recipe. Could also find it on the side of most Libby cans.
