For the meatballs:
1# sweet Italian sausage
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt

For the soup:
4 cups hot chicken stock
1 T tomato paste
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup farfalline pasta
1 bag baby spinach leaves


Directions:
Directions:
1) Combine meatball ingredients and form into marble sized balls.
2) Combine broth, tomato paste, and garlic in crock pot. When liquid is warm, add meatballs. Cook on low 5-6 hours.
3) 30 minutes before serving, add pasta. When pasta is tender, stir in spinach leaves.
4) When spinach is tender, ladle into bowls. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
