1 package white cake mix (18-1/4 ounces)
1/4 c. raspberry pie filling
1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. confectioners' sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Fill paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Drop 1/2 tsp. of pie filling in the center of each; swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool. In a mixing bowl cream shortening. Add milk, vanilla, salt and confectioners' sugar; beat until fluffy. Makes 1 1/2 doz.
