8 eggs
500 gram sugar (2.5 C.sugar)
200 gram butter (just over 1.75 sticks)
1 c. cream
1 pinch of salt
2-3 T. of aniseed
1 pkg. of raising powder (yeast)
approx. 1-1.3 kilograms flour (8-10 c.)

Beat eggs and sugar until frothy, add liquid butter, (not hot), cream and spices, fold in as much flour as required. Leave the dough in the cold for a few hours.
Mold rolls as thick as pencils, optionally turn them in sugar. Cut them in pieces of an approx. length of 5 centimeters. (2 inches). Cut three times into one side of the bisquit, bake on a greased tray at 200º C (400* F) for 5-8 minutes.
