Tassie Shells:
1 stick butter, room temperature
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
½ tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour

Tassie Filling:
3 Tbsp. melted butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. chopped pecans

Tassie Shells:
1. Cream butter, cream cheese and vanilla until well blended.
2. Add flour and mix until soft dough forms.
3. Roll into walnut-size balls and put each ball into one tassie section.
4. Using a tassie shaper, press each ball into a section until a shell is formed. It helps to flour the tassie shaper.

Tassie Filling:
1. Mix first five ingredients together.
2. Evenly distribute pecans among 24 tassie shells.
3. Fill the tassie shells with the tassie filling.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until filling and crust are golden brown.
