1 can (20 ounces) pineapple, crushed, with juice
1 can (20 ounces) mandarin oranges, with juice
1 package yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 quart vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Grease bottom and sides of a 9” x 13” inch glass baking dish. Dump pineapple in baking dish and spread evenly around. Dump mandarin oranges on top of pineapple and spread evenly around. Sprinkle cake mix all over top of fruit. Cut butter into chunks and place on top of cake mix; spreading evenly around. Bake at 350 ºF for 40 – 50 minutes.

Spoon cake into serving dishes and top with ice cream.

Cake is great to eat hot or cold.

To make this recipe gluten free, the following ingredients will need to be replaced: yellow cake mix. A gluten free brand that works well in this recipe is Betty Crocker's gluten free yellow cake mix.
