2 cups cake flour
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt


Wet ingredients:
1 cup cold water
1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing or Hellman's mayonnaise
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together to mix well.
Combine cold water, Miracle Whip salad dressing (or Hellman's mayonnaise), and vanilla in measuring cup and beat into dry ingredients.
You do not have to over beat, as batter will be thinner than regular cake mix.
Bake in 9 X 9 inch pan that has been a well greased or lined with greased parchment..
Bake 325 º F - 350 º F for 25 - 30 min.

This is quick & easy - good way to use dressing that has been in fridge.
Easy to frost with can of Duncan Hines or Chocolate Butter Cream Icing (recipe in this book) or serve with ice cream topped with thick chocolate syrup
