6 Tbsp Butter
1 Onion (Chopped)
1 Bell Pepper (Chopped)
2 Stalks Celery (Chopped)
2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
1 Bay Leaf
2 Tbsp Paprika
1 Tsp. Dried Basil
1 Tsp. Dried Thyme
2 Cups Skinned Tomatoes (Chopped)
1 Cup Tomato Sauce
4 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp Hot Sauce
Pinch of Salt
1-1/2 Tsp Cornstarch
3 Pounds Raw Shrimp (Fresh, Peeled and Deveined)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt two tablespoons of butter in a skillet and sautee onions, peppers, celery, garlic and bay leaf for a few minutes. Add paprika, thyme, basil, tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire and hot sauce. Mix the cornstarch with four tablespoons cold water and pour into tomato mixture. Turn heat to lowest setting and simmer while you sautee the shrimp. In a separate skillet, add the remaining 4 tablespoons of butter and cook shrimp until they are light pink. Add to tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning, if necessary. Serve over cooked rice.
