Ingredients:
1 4-6 pound rib roast
Salt and pepper garlic salt

au Jus: 1 Cup Chicken Broth and the drippings in the roaster pan(Skim Fat off if there is any)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450 º Pat the rib roast dry and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Insert a meat thermometer in the center of the meat so you know when the meat is done to your liking. Place the meat fat side down in a shallow, sprayed with PAM, roasting pan on a wire rack. The rack is so the drippings will cook onto the bottom of the pan for the au Jus. After 30 minutes turn the meat over and continue cooking until your meat thermometer reaches the desired temperature. Somewhere between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 hours. Cover roast with foil and let it stand for 20 minutes before carving.

au Jus: Remove the roast from the pan and Drain off any fat. Place the roasting pan over the regular burner on the stove, Add the broth and bring to a boil while scraping the drippings gently from the bottom of the pan. Season to taste with salt and pepper if desired. Serve over the prime ribs.

Ovens vary so if you are more comfortable turning the oven down and cooking the meat longer, it seems to work fine. The thermometer is a must though!
