2 qts water
1 tsp salt
4 chicken breasts (bone in, skin on)
3/4 cup chopped onions
1 1/2 cup celery chopped with leaves
4 cups chopped cabbage
1 1/2 cup thin sliced carrots
1 cup thin sliced parsnips
2 cups fresh parsley
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
3 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 cup star pasta

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the chicken in the water with salt for 45 mins. Remove chicken. Add the vegetables to the broth and increase heat. When the liquid comes back to a soft boil reduce heat. Add the seasoning and cook 45 min. Take the meat off the bones and add to the mixture. Add stars and cook about 15 mins longer. Stir often and add salt and pepper.
