5 C. all-purpose Flour, 1 1/2 C. Milk,
3 envelopes of dry Yeast, 1/3 C. Butter or Margarine,
1/3 C. Sugar, 3 Eggs,
1 tsp. Salt, 3/4 - 1 C. melted Butter.

Directions:
In a large mixer bowl combine together 1 1/2 C. flour, yeast, sugar & salt. Set aside. Heat milk & 1/3 C. butter until very warm (120-130 f) butter need not be totally melted. Pour over flour mixture; add eggs & beat 3 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl as needed. Add 1 C. flour & beat 3 min. longer. Add remaining 2 1/2 C. flour and mix with wooden spoon. Knead by hand a few times to aid in the mixing & the appearance of the dough. Grease top of dough, cover & let rise in warm, draft free place until doubled in size (about 30 min) Turn out on lightly floured surface, divide dough in to half & let rest, covered by bowl for 15 min, roll out each half in to 18X12 rectangle. Cut lengthwise in to strips, then crosswise into cubes. Dip each piece in melted butter & toss at random

in 3 loaf pans. Cover & let rise until doubled in size (1-1 1/2 hours) Bake on bottom rack of preheated 425 oven for about 20 minutes or until beautifully browned. Remove from pan & pull apart bread for individual servings. YUM ENJOY!!! Ruth Chagny recipe - Too Good!!!.
