ANGEL BISCUITS;

5 C. Flour, 1 C. Shortening, 3 T. Sugar, 1 tsp. Salt, 5 T. lukewarm Water,
1/2 tsp. Soda, 2 C. Buttermilk & 1 pkg. dry Yeast.

Sift all dry ingredients & cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water & add to buttermilk. Add dry flour mixture. Roll out like biscuits. Bake until brown in 475 degree oven. Bake only amount needed for one meal. Dough can keep in refrigerator for several days.

1 pkg. dry Yeast, 2 C. warm Water, 1/4 C. Sugar, 3/4 C. Vegetable Oil, 1 Egg, 4 C. self-rising Flour.
Pre-heat oven to 400.

Mix yeast with 2 tablespoons of warm water. Add remaining warm water. Add sugar, oil & egg. Gradually stir in flour. Place in covered bowl and refrigerate. Will keep several days in the refrigerator. Bake at 400 degrees until light brown.
