5 slices bacon
3/4 lb chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped bell pepper
4 c chicken broth
1 1/2 c frozen corn
1 can cream style corn
1/4 c corn starch
1 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 c cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in a large pot over med heat until browned and crisp. Drain and crumble. Reserve 2 Tbsp bacon drippings. Cook chicken, onion and pepper in hot bacon drippings, 3 to 5 minutes until chicken is no longer pink and onion is softened. Add broth, frozen corn and creamed corn. Combine corn starch with milk and stir into soup. Heat to boiling over med high heat, stirring constantly; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Add salt, pepper and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Serve with crumbled bacon on top
