8 slices bacon, cut into pieces
1 c chopped celery
1/2 c chopped carrot
1/4 c sliced green onion
2 cans navy beans, drained and rinsed
2 c chicken broth
1 c water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in large saucepan over med-high heat until crisp. Drain. Reserve 2 Tbsp bacon drippings in saucepan. Add celery, carrot and onion; cook 5 minutes or till vegetables are crisp tender, stirring frequently. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in bacon and serve.
