1 medium head cabbage, shredded
1 small onion, grated
1 medium green pepper, diced
6 pimiento-stuffed green olives, thinly sliced (optional)
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl put cabbage, onion, green pepper, olives and sugar.

PREPARE DRESSING:
1 cup white vinegar
1 T. celery seed
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1 T. mustard seed

Mix all ingredients in medium saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat. Boil for 3 minutes, pour over the cabbage mixture and stir well.
Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Stir again before serving.

Key to preparing this dish is making certain the cabbage is thinly sliced, to allow it to be more evenly coated with the dressing.
