1 can crescent rolls (extra large ones work well if available)
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and quartered
3/4 C sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 C 7-up

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º
Mix sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg together. Roll apple quarters in this mixture covering well. Place on crescent roll and roll up. Place dumplings in 8x11 greased baking dish. Pour remaining sugar mixture over dumplings and then pour 7-up over them. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
