1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. M&M's
1/2 c. Rice Krispies

In a 1 quart wide mouth jar, add all the ingredients in the order listed. Pack them firmly after each addition to the jar with a wooden spoon. Screw on the cover and prepare a gift tag with the following instructions.

GIFT TAG: To make your holiday cookies. Cream together 1/2 c. butter, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg in a large bowl. Add the contents of this jar and stir until well blended. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
