Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup Karo syrup
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
10 - 12 cups popped popcorn

Directions:
Directions:
Pop the corn ahead of time.
Put the popped corn in a brown grocery bag.
Do this before starting the caramel covering.

Using a heavy glass bowl (approx. 1 1/2 quart size), add the brown sugar, syrup and butter. Microwave cook on HIGH for 2 - 3 minutes until the butter is dissolved. Stir, then cook until mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Stir and micro cook for 2 more minutes.
Pour the mixture over the popped corn in the bag and mix. Roll the top down on the bag and place the bag with the corn in the microwave and cook on HIGH for 2 minutes. Take the bag out and shake to redistribute the popped corn. Roll the top down. Return to the microwave and cook on HIGH for 1 more minute. (I usually turn the bag upside down on this step). Spread the corn mixture on a pan and let cool. When cool, break into small pieces. Stores quite well in a plastic bag.
