1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cup + 1 T sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1/2 cup whole milk
2 cups fresh blackberries (cleaned)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream 1/2 c. soft butter with 1 1/4 cup sugar. Add 2 eggs and mix well.

In separate bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 2 t. baking powder, 1/2 t. salt.

Add alternately 1/2 c. whole milk / flour mixture to the butter/eggs mixture.

Do not over stir. Fold in fresh black berries.

Spoon in to cupcake pan -- filling 2/3 full.

Bake 375 for 20-25 minutes
