1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
Filling:
2/3 c. dried apricots
1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
conf. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients together until crumbly. Press into a greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 350* for about 25 minutes or until light brown.
Cut up apricots and cover with water. Boil for 10 minutes and pour off extra water. Set aside. Sift together 1/3 c. flour, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs and brown sugar together; add flour mixture and mix well. Add vanilla, nuts and apricots. Spread over baked crust and return to oven for 30 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with conf. sugar.
