1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder (Ellie and Violet like Dark Chocolate Cocoa Powder)
3/4 c. white sugar
1 pinch salt
1/3 c. boiling water
3 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Blend in boiling water. Bring mixture to a boil while stirring. Simmer for about 2 minutes. Do not scorch.
Stir in 3 1/2 cups milk and heat until very hot, but do not boil.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Divide between 4 mugs. Add half and half to mugs and serve.
