Mom loves almost any recipe with Dates. This is a very easy and quick appetizer recipe that Mom has for special occasions. The versatility of this recipe is that you can use Pitted Dates or Pitted Prunes. You can just stuff them with Toasted Pecans, Almonds or Walnuts, and then roll them in Powdered Sugar, or you can slice the Dates or Prunes and spread Cream Cheese inside, and then add a Pecan, Almond or Walnut. Close and secure with a toothpick and roll in Powdered Sugar. Additionally, you can stuff with Nuts and then wrap in Bacon and secure with a toothpick and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or so.
