8 tablespoons butter
8 tablespoons flour
6 cups warm milk
1/2 pound chipped beef torn into pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in frying pan and add flour. Stir until mixture becomes a rue and slowly add warm milk. Constantly stir until sauce is smooth and thick. Add chipped beef to mixture and salt and pepper to taste. Put over toast, biscuits or home fries.
