Ingredients: 1/4 cup and 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup and 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/3 cup paprika 2 tablespoons and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 tablespoons and 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 2 tablespoons and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons and 1-3/4 teaspoons dried oregano 2 tablespoons and 1-3/4 teaspoons dried thyme 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional) Add all ingredients to list

Directions:1. Mix all spices together and put in airtight container. 2. Store in a dry area at room temperature.
Makes 1 1/2 cups of spice mix.

Notes: Story behind the spice. Michael and I would only go to Chili's to eat the Spicy Chicken Pasta. It was removed from the menu so we stopped going for years. We got a gift card to Chili's so I figured we would give them a try again. I happen to meet a General Manager who had been with the company for years. I have him my e-mail address and he sent me the recipe for the spice mix since there were no plans to put it back on the menu. So that it became a Sherrill traditional meal....
