Cream:
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. light brown sugar (packed)
1 egg
1/4 c. light molasses

Sift together and stir in:
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Chill dough. Roll out on floured cutting board and use a 2-inch (tiny) gingerbread boy cookie cutter to create shapes.
Place on either a greased & floured cookie sheet or use parchment paper.
Sprinkle each boy with regular sugar. While warm poke with toothpick, eye, nose, smile or decorate with icing.
Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
Remove from cookie sheet when cool.
