CRUST:
2 3/4 c. crushed pretzels
1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
3 Tbsp. sugar

MIDDLE LAYER:
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
8 oz. container of Cool Whip


TOP LAYER:
1 lrg. box of Jell-O, strawberry or other flavor
2 1/4 c. boiling water
1 pt. strawberries, partially thawed, (coarsely chopped for smaller bites of fruit)

Mix crust ingredients together; pat firmly into a 9x13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350º. Let cool. Beat cream cheese, add sugar and Cool Whip and whip until fluffy. Spread over pretzel crust. Refrigerate one hour. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Let stand a few minutes. Add strawberries or other frozen fruit, such as raspberries, etc. and stir well. Pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

This is my Grandma Anderson's recipe and I love it when she and my mom make it! I like it with raspberry jello and strawberries. Yummy!
