1 pkg. dry active yeast
½ cup warm water
½ cup warm milk
1 egg
1/3 cup soft butter
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 ¾ cups flour
¼ cup soft butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine warm water and warm milk. Add yeast and let sit until yeast is dissolved or frothy. In Cuisinart, mix 1/3 cup butter, sugar, and salt. Add egg. Add yeast mixture. Add flour slowly. Do not over mix.

Place dough in a bowl and allow to rise double it’s size, approx. 1 hour.

Split dough in 2 pieces, roll out on counter to a square/rectangle shape, if possible. Spread ½ of the soft butter on the dough. Cut into triangles and roll into croissants. Repeat with other half of dough.

Place on cookie sheet and allow to rise again, approx. 1 hour.

Bake 400– 6-8 minutes, until browned.
