3 cups Domino sugar
1 cup Karo light corn syrup
3/4 cup water
1 tsp. (1 bottle) Lorann flavoring oil

5 lb. powdered sugar

Clean your kitchen counter thoroughly and then dump powdered sugar onto counter top. Smooth into an 18" x 24" rectangle. Create 12 'channels' with your fingers in the sugar.

Mix first 3 ingredients in large, heavy saucepan. Stir constantly over medium (# 6) heat until sugar dissolves.

Boil without stirring until the temp reaches 310º or till drops of syrup form hard and brittle threads in cold water. Remove from heat. Stir in flavoring oil and food coloring. Pour into the channels of powdered sugar.

After about 2 minutes, score every 1" or so. When completely cool, break at score marks.

Store in airtight container.

10 lbs. of sugar makes about 6 batches. (14 batches made about 45 of the larger bags.) (See below.)

Strawberry - 10 drops red
Crème de Menth - 7-10 drops green
Pina colada - 0 drops
Watermelon - 0 drops
Butter Rum (Dark yellow) - 13 drops yellow

6 batches will yield 50 3"x5" bags with 2 T. each of 6 flavors per bag.
