In a mixing bowl-
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup plus 2 tbs shortening
1/3 cup cold water

Directions:

combine flour and salt mix
add shortening- combine using a fork or pastry cutter. Never use your hands to combine.

combine until mixture forms small pea size

add cold water.

wrap dough and refrigerate while you prepare filling for pie
