4 c. blackberries
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 lg. egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. all purpose flour
6 tbsp. butter, melted
Optional for topping: Whipped cream & Mint Sprigs

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place blackberries in a lightly greased 8 " square baking dish; sprinkle with lemon juice.
2. Stir together egg, sugar, and flour in a medium bowl until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over fruit.
3. Drizzle melted butter over topping.
4. Bake at 375º for 35 minutes or until lightly browned and bubble.
5. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream and garnish with fresh mint, if desired.
