Ingredients: 1 c. chopped onion 1 tbsp. butter 1 4 oz. can mushrooms (drained) 1 sm. canned sliced ripe olives 1 lb. ground beef (browned & drained) 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 c. water 1 c. chopped green pepper 1 28 oz. can Italian flavored tomatoes ( do not drain) 2 tsp. oregano 12 oz. cooked spaghetti 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 c. grated parmesan

Directions:In a large skillet saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and oregano. Add browned ground beef - simmer uncovered for ten minutes. Place half of cooked spaghetti in greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Cover with 1/2 of sauce mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat layer. Combine the mushroom soup with water until smooth and pour over casserole and bake covered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Makes 12 servings. Let set 5 to 10 minutes before serving. |

Notes: This is a very easy recipe to make adjustments to, if you do not like mushrooms just omit them, you can also use plain dried tomatoes if you do not care for the flavored ones.
