2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 can crushed pineapple with syrup - 1 lb. 4 oz.
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
Glaze:
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add eggs, pineapple and vanilla. Blend together with a spoon. Pour into a greased 15" x 11" jelly roll pan. Sprinkle top with nuts and coconut. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely.Top with glaze. Slice and serve.
Glaze: Boil and cook ingredients for 3-5 minutes on low heat. Spread over cooled bars.

My Great Aunt Chip was a wonderful baker. These bars are very addictive.
These bars also received a First place blue ribbon in the Orange County Fair in 2001.
