½ lb. butter
2 ½ cups flour
¾ cup brown sugar
1 egg
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
Jelly of your choice (grape, strawberry, etc.)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix everything together in mix master.
Make into a long roll like a salami.
Refrigerate overnight.

Cut into thin rounds and put on a slightly greased cookie sheet.
Make a dent in the center of each cookie, and put jelly in dent.

Put the dough back in the refrigerator that you are not using.
Cookies cannot be made all at once.

Bake in a 350º oven till lightly brown.
Can be frozen in one layer with wax paper in between each layer.
