Ingredients:  
4 lbs. Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
Put in bowl with 2 tbs lemon juice so they don’t turn brown. Mix well
1 cup sugar scant
¼ cup flour
1 tsp cinnamon
Mix well

Directions:
Directions:
Line a pie plate with one crust (I use Pillsbury Pie Crusts).
Put apples in pie shell.
Add 10 pats butter and 2 tsp vanilla on top of apples.
Cover with top crust.
Crimp edges and make slits on top crust.

Bake in a 425º oven for 45 minutes.
If the edges of the crust get brown before pie is done cover with tin foil.
