Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 lb hamburger
6 pieces of bread torn up
3 eggs
1/2 c ketchup
1/2 c milk
2 tbls Worcestershire
2 packs onion soup mix

Topping:
1/2 c ketchup
2 tbls brown sugar
1 tbls mustard powder
1/4 tsp apple cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Mix well and shape into a loaf. Place into a medium oval pan. Bake 1 hour, un-covered. I like to open the center a little with a knife to check for doneness. After 1 hour, drain grease. Mix and spread over topping. Bake for another 15-20 minutes.

Tip: Sometimes I will make it like my momma and quarter potatoes and lay them around the meatloaf while it is cooking. Cook covered until the last 15-20 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
“I spent years and years trying different recipes for the perfect meatloaf. Lo and behold, the one I was looking for was right under my nose. This is a slightly modified version of Debi’s wonderful meatloaf. My family eats it up like there’s no tomorrow.” Mindy
