French Onion Meatloaf Recipe

2 lbs lean ground chuck or ground round
1/2 c rolled oats
1/2 c of dry bread crumbs
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 can Campbell’s French onion soup, un-diluted
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
ketchup or barbeque sauce (for top of meatloaf)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients (minus sauce for top) in a bowl - form into a loaf and place in a baking pan. Bake at 350° F for 1 hour. Remove from oven and spread ketchup or barbeque sauce on top. Bake an additional 15 minutes. Remove from oven and transfer to plate - let rest for a few minutes for easier slicing.
