10 slices bread
2 c chicken, shrimp, or tuna
1/2 c margarine
1 green pepper, chopped
1 med onion, chopped
1 c celery, chopped
4 eggs
3 c milk
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 c grated sharp cheese
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Dice 4 slices of bread and place in 9 x 13 buttered baking dish. Mix large pieces of chicken with margarine, green peppers, onion and celery. Spread over diced bread. Trim crusts from 6 slices of bread and place whole slices over chicken mixture. Beat eggs until frothy. Add milk and pour over top of bread. Place in refrigerator overnight. When ready to serve, bake at 325° F for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and pour mushroom soup over top, then top with grated cheese and a generous amount of paprika. Bake 1 hour longer at 325° F. Serve hot. Serves 8 generously.
