Directions:
Arrange cucumbers in quart jars; add garlic and dill. Mix vinegar, salt and water and bring to a boil. Pour to within 1/4" of top of jar. Put on seals and lids. Boil in hot water bath 10 minutes.

Fantastic! The kids used to sneak in the shed where we kept all our canned goods and open a jar, sit right down and eat the whole thing.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Not too many pictures exist of Grandma and Grandpa together after we were married. Grandma got a divorce while she still had 4 girls at home. She had never driven a car, but she taught herself and went most anyplace she wanted plus she got a job. All she had ever done was work in the fields and take care of the house and 7 kids. She also raised her mentally challenged grandson Joey. She was one of the strongest women I have ever known. Proud to say she was my mother-in-law.
