One bottom pie crust for 9" pie plate
FILLING:
8 cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 1/2 T butter, melted
3/4 c sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
TOPPING:
1/2 c flour
1/2 t cinnamon
1/3 c brown sugar, packed
1/3 c butter, softened

FILLING:
Mix the apples, butter, sugar and cinnamon together. Pour into the pastry.
TOPPING:
Mix together the flour, cinnamon and sugar. Cream the butter and then add to the flour mixture so it is crumbly and then sprinkle over the pie.
Bake in a preheated 425º oven for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 325º and bake for a further 30 minutes. Remove and cool before serving.
