2/3 c. butter, melted
3 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 pts. oysters
1 tsp. grated onion
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. cream
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, crumbs, onion and seasonings. Drain oysters, reserving the liquid. Place a layer of oysters in a greased shallow pan or baking dish; top with a layer of crumbs, and then with remaining oysters. Pour oyster liquor and cream over layers. Top with remaining crumbs and sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown. Serves 6.
