3 eggs, well beaten
1 cup raisins
1 tbs vanilla
1/4 cup honey
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cup sifted flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups cinnamon
2 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs, raisins, vanilla, and honey. Let mixture stand for one hour or longer stirring once in a while. Thoroughly cream together shortening, brown sugar, and white sugar. Sift flour, salt, soda, and cinnamon into sugar mixture. Mix well. Blend in eggs and raisins mixture. Add the oatmeal and the nuts. ( the dough will be VERY stiff) Push dough from heaping teaspoons unto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in oven 350 degrees for 10-12 mins, or until light brown.
