Step one: You need the Pizzelle maker :)

6 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 sticks butter
1 or 2 tablespoons of vanilla - depending on taste OR
1/2 teaspoon anise
3 1/2 cups sifted flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar together
Melt butter, cool, then add to mixture
Add vanilla or anise

Mix flour and baking powder together then add to wet mixture

Cook until golden brown, cool, dust with powdered sugar
