4 ripe tomatoes, diced or one can of diced tomatoes
3 slices green pepper, diced ( about 2 T. )
3 slices of chopped onion.
little sugar to taste.

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan heat tomatoes, green pepper and onion.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes.
Add sugar to taste.
Make mixture of cornstarch and water then add this mixture little by little to thicken.
When thickened, cook for one additional minute to get rid of the starchy taste.
Serve warm as a side dish or with macaroni and cheese.
