1/3 C flour
2 t salt
1 t cracked pepper
4 pounds country-style pork ribs (I've used either bone-in or boneless)
3 T oil
1 C onion, chopped
1 can beef broth (14.5 oz)
3 T ketchup
3 T Worcestershire sauce
2 T cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
pinch cayenne pepper (if desired)

Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a plastic bag, combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat the ribs with the flour mixture, a few pieces at a time.

Heat oil in skillet. Brown ribs on all sides. Place in a glass rectangular dish. In a bowl, mix onion and the remaining ingredients; pour over ribs.

Bake for 1.25 hours or until meat is tender. After removing ribs from the pas, strain the fat from the sauce. Serve sauce with ribs.
