¾ cup butter
½ cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ¾ cup sifted flour
Melt away mint candies or chocolate melt away candies

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and salt. After mixed thoroughly, slowly add sifted flour in a stirring fashion. Chill mixture in refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll mixtures into balls. Flatten balls onto a cookie sheet by placing a melt away candy into the center. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
