Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg Kraft Caramels
½ pint whipping cream ( I use ½ & ½)
2 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp soda
½ cup chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels and ¾ cup or whipping cream in a double boiler.( This can be done in the microwave.) Mix other Ingredients (except nuts and chocolate chips) well with a mixer. When well mixed add the rest of the cream and mix again. Save 1 cup of the mixture and press the fest in a 9 X 13 inch greased baking pan. Bake 10 or 12 minutes at 350 degrees F oven. Remove from oven and pour the caramel mixture over the baked base. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Then mix left over mixture to the pecans and sprinkle over the caramel mixture. If you want you can sprinkle a few more chocolate chips over the top. Bake for an additional 15 minutes. Watch carefully as it is easy to over cook. Let cool. AND ENJOY!!
