4 lean loin or center-cut pork chops, cut 1/2 inch thick
Salt and pepper
1 cup uncooked regular rice
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce with onions
1 (13.25 oz) can pineapple bits, undrained
1 cup water
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. In skillet, brown well on both sides; pour off fat. Add rice, green pepper, tomato sauce with onions, pineapple tidbits with their syrup, water, vinegar, and salt; stir in, mix well. Simmer, tightly covered for 45 minutes or until rice is tender. Makes 4 servings.
